Florida Crystals’ William Edgar Joins Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches’ Board
We are happy to share that our Purchasing Manager William Edgar is set to begin a three-year term on the board of The Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, located just down the street from our Clematis Street headquarters. He is succeeding outgoing board member Ben Sadler, Real Estate Counsel.
The Chamber has a proven track record playing a critical role in promoting growth of existing businesses, attracting new ones and enhancing the overall quality of life in the community.
Reflecting on his tenure with the Chamber, Ben emphasized the value of collaboration and community he experienced during his three years on the board.
“The camaraderie and fellowship were the highlight,” Ben shared. “I met fantastic people and gained exposure to a cross-section of the economy I wouldn’t have otherwise encountered. The Chamber’s role in making West Palm Beach a pro-business hub has been remarkable. It’s exciting to see developments like Vanderbilt’s expansion and the broader economic growth.”
Ben also noted Florida Crystals’ integral role in the local economy and highlighted the importance of our continued engagement with the Chamber.
William brings a fresh perspective as he steps into his new volunteer role. He is well-versed in capital projects and industrial construction, skills he believes align perfectly with the Chamber’s networking and resource opportunities.
“I’m thrilled to join the Chamber,” William said. "As a resident of West Palm Beach, I’m passionate about supporting projects that enhance our community and improve the quality of life for everyone here.”
He’s excited about contributing to the city’s ongoing development and optimizing local projects for long-term benefit.
Both Ben and William recognize the Chamber’s pivotal role in shaping West Palm Beach as a vibrant, business-friendly city. Ben praised William’s selection.
“William is the perfect fit for this role,” said Ben. “His expertise and enthusiasm will undoubtedly benefit the Chamber.”
